Root Fracture on Mandibular Right First Molar

Bone loss evident around fractured mesial root

Patient presented with pain on biting along with swelling adjacent to lower right first molar. Root fracture was diagnosed and tooth was extracted. No bone graft or membrane was used.

After four months of healing the site was ready for implant surgery.

Implant surgery was done with minimal surgical access. This approach reduces post operative pain, reduces risk of infection and eliminates swelling completely.
